SUMMARY:Catholic Church in the United States
DESCRIPTION:An Armchair Look at the Next 2 Decades\nFr./Dr. Richard C. Sparks, C.S.P.\nMarch 4, 2024 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.\nCongregations are aging. Fewer young people in the pews? Church in the U.S. seems to be “falling behind”. Older vs. younger priests are more ‘at odds’, not ‘in sync’. Faithfully-speaking, historically conscious, and sociologically projecting:\nWhere are we as Catholic Church in the U.S.: 2024-2044?\nRichard Sparks is a Paulist, Ethicist and Semi-Retired Priest currently living and serving in Vero Beach, Florida. He has a Ph.D. in Ethics from The Catholic University of America. He is a friend of the Rock Hill Oratory Center for Spirituality and has made several presentations in the past.\nPre-registration is required to receive the link for this on-line presentation. Suggested Donation: $20\n
