SUMMARY:The Bible on Forgiveness: The Gift That Keeps on Giving
DESCRIPTION:This program is being offered on-line.  Pre-recorded talks will be available September 5-12, 2020, plus a live session with the speaker on Saturday, September 12th.\nMary Ann Getty\nThe Bible has much to teach us about forgiveness and today more than ever, perhaps, we have many opportunities to put its lessons into practice. Perhaps never has the challenge to our humanity and faith been so evident, grace more necessary and the rewards so abundant as when we offer and receive forgiveness. We will reflect on the relevance of the Bible’s teachings about forgiveness and look at some examples of current topics that call for our individual and collective awareness of its importance in our daily lives as believers.\nPart 1: https://youtu.be/yQ2ghUhGDeY\nPart 2: https://youtu.be/ZVVzaEQ0bNE\nPart 3: https://youtu.be/gixFNFqqYnQ\nOutine of forgiveness >>\nPre-registration is required to participate in the September 12th session.\nMary Ann Getty has her doctorate in theology from the University of Louvain, Belgium. Retired from full time teaching, she offers retreats, workshops and lectures on New Testament topics. The author and editor of many books, her most recent book is entitled, What Does the Bible Say About Forgiveness?\nNo charge, but donations accepted.\n
