Advent Retreat

Presented by Sr. Susan Schorsten, H.M.

Date: Thursday, December 3rd, 2026
Time: 9:30am–3pm
Location: Center for Spirituality at The Oratory
In Person Only

As we journey through Advent and the Christmas season, can we see – really see the new that God is inviting us to? What might be the new God is doing in you? Inviting you to see?

Might it be a deeper understanding of God’s humility, love and compassion? Jesus was born in a stable for there was no room in the inn. Jesus and His family had to flee their country from oppression and were migrants in a foreign land.

Where is our humble God being born today? In a hospital with a neonatal intensive care ‘just in case’ OR in a refugee camp OR a bombed out hospital in Ukraine, or Gaza or Iran or Haiti?

How and where are you giving birth to God today?

Thoughts to ponder as we prepare to celebrate Jesus’ birth today – in 2026!

Cost: $50 (lunch included)
